2013-2014 Children’s Programs Performance Measurement Data Collection Tools and Process
CAPC, CPNP and AHSUNC 2013-2014 performance measurement data will be collected beginning mid-April. The following information provides more details on the revised data collection tool, process and upcoming training sessions:
The New Tool
The Children’s Programs Performance Measurement Tool (CPPMT) is the new data collection tool forCAPC, CPNP and AHSUNC.
The CPPMT replaces previously used performance measurement tools such as the Integrated National Analysis Tool (INAT), used by CAPC and CPNP, and the National Administrative Process Survey (NAPS), used by AHSUNC. The CPPMT does not replace regional project monitoring tools.
CPPMT includes fewer questions than INAT and the NAPS (questions that were common to CAPC, CPNP and AHSUNC were streamlined to ensure consistent language and answer options). Because of these changes, some expanded answer options or find questions have been reworded. Nonetheless, core themes remain such as:
- Project/site and participant information;
- Programs, services and activities;
- Funding, in-kind donations, staffing and volunteers; and
- Partnerships and community involvement.
The New Process
The CPPMT will be disseminated, completed and submitted using FluidReview, a user-friendly web-based tool. Training on the use of FluidReview will be offered to all Project Coordinators in both English and in French (see details below).
Timelines
You will receive a link to the CPPMT by email in mid April 2014 and will have one month to complete it. Completion of the CPPMT is a requirement of your contribution agreement with PHAC.
Training Information
You are invited to attend one of the following training sessions to learn how to complete the CPPMT. The training sessions will focus on how to complete and submit the CPPMT using FluidReview but will not review all the questions of the survey in detail.
